Sorry guys for that very brief hiatus but we’re back!
While preparing to launch my blog one of the things I found myself doing was trying to re-purpose the items I had in my closet. With style being one of the main components of my blog, of course, I need to have outfits to style when I go on photo shoots. But I’m a struggling college student over here so I can’t just buy clothes every time I have a shoot. This cold shoulder dress is a bit old but I found myself wanting to try to revamp it somehow, thus this look was born.

I bought this cold shoulder dress from an H&M in Dallas about two years ago. It’s funny too because what first attracted me to the dress was the sleeves. But then I actually started thinking the dress was ugly because of the sleeves. So this dress probably sat in my closet for about three or so months before I finally wore it out somewhere. I can’t be the only person that does that right? You buy something because you think it’s cute but now you think it’s ugly and you’re wondering why you bought it in the first place?
Of course, now I’m glad I never had the time to return this dress. I think it’s such a versatile piece because you can pair it with flats, heels, sneakers or sandals. Which makes this dress a great transitional day to night piece. Anyone that knows me, knows I own a lot of dresses. I love dresses simply due to the fact that they’re already an outfit. You just have to provide the accessories and shoes to turn it into something more. Much like this cold shoulder dress. Cold shoulder dresses are sexy to me because they give the dress some flair to help you stand out.
Down below I’ve comprised a list of cold shoulder dresses that I believe would be great for any occasion. Date night, a night out with the girls, or even brunch. Happy shopping!
Super cute blog! I scrolled a few post and thought this was so cute! Keep up the good work 🙂
